What are the intakes in Australia?
There are two intakes for Admissions in Australian Institution – February & July, with some universities offering intake in November as well. A university takes 4-6 weeks generally to process an application so you should ideally apply 6-7 months prior to the intake so that you have ample amount of time for post admissions process.
My education has been in English. Do I still need to sit for IELTS ?
Yes. IELTS is a mandatory admission as well as visa requirement.
Are credits transferring possible? do I apply for them?
A student can transfer his/her credit hours to Australian Universities. However for this the student is required to submit his/her course syllabus to the university and it can take minimum of 6 months for credits to be granted.
What are the visa possibilities for my spouse/dependent?
Spouse/dependent of a student visa holder in Australia gets a dependent visa for the same duration as the primary applicant. This is applicable for Master’s degree applicants.
